COVID-19 Impacts

St. Paul's in Salem, Oregon is following the State of Oregon's guidelines pertaining to social distancing and gathering in groups. Please check the weekly e-Board for the children's bulletins and opportunities to virtually gather during this time. 

The information below will apply when it is safe to resume in-person services and gatherings. 

Children's Ministries
Children are welcome in our worship service. Families with children are invited to please sit in the reserved pews in the front of the church. There is also nursery care available during the service. Children’s Worship Bags, puzzles and toys, are available for children to use during the services. Nursery care is available from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm

Sunday school at 9:45 am services offers:


Nursery/Preschool (Ages 0 - 4) - Sundays from 9:30 – 12:30
Let us bless your children with crafts, stories, movement, free play, and snacks from experienced and caring teachers. 3 and 4-year-olds get to have a preschool lesson during the Sunday school time, with a bible story and related art project, in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.

Godly Play, pre-kindergarten to 2nd-grade children, participate in a Montessori-based curriculum of foundational stories of the Bible.

Seasons of the Spirit3rd-5th grade children, delve more deeply into the Bible and its message through a lectionary-based program.


All children are welcome to participate in Choirs, Bell Choir, Storytime, Art class, and Gym time on Wednesdays.


St. Paul’s Arts and Rhythms for Kids (SPARK) – A weeklong camp leading up to the Salem Art Association Art Fair in July. Campers learn about a particular country through fine arts, music, food, and more.
